Palatial concept of a hotel complex on the metropolitan boulevard Národní třída. Designed for ACCOR Hotels. Classically crafted/tectonically constructed solid architecture, in harmony with the genius loci of the place. The corner new building is compositionally formed in a very complex building situation between three neighboring historic buildings, with different cornice heights, street lines, different scales, and architectural styles. The contextual architecture of the design adopts the principles of the individual original buildings and unites them into a smoothly connected whole, which symbolically culminates at the corner. From the beginning, it was clear that the place needed to be complemented by a solid, tectonic, and comprehensible form, with a high-quality facade of traditional materiality and color. The hotel complex consists of a corner new building connected to the neighboring reconstructed immovable cultural monument - a baroque palace - and a new courtyard wing behind it. The basements housed a conference center and other hotel activities.
